The Pistols

The pistols Hedda carries are a sign of her power, or the power that she wishes to have. Without these guns she loses this so called power. We can see this when after she points and "accidentally" fires the pistols at judge Brack he then takes her power away (the pistols).

I agree to the extent that the pistol adds to her power, but even without the pistols, i believe that Hedda has quite a bit of power, especially over George Tesman's weak self.

yea, i agree with nehemeaeieaehe. She controlled Thea and Tesman pretty easily without the pistols. she began to lose control when the people in her life found ways to control her, not necessarily because of her lack of pistols

yes these pistols are signs of having power. But do you actually think taking these pistols away takes away her power? is there power actually here? U can argue that the pistols are a falsehood and portrays power that is actually there.

Wait, wait. Does this even count as a real blog post? It was like 3 sentences. I'm just sayin.....

I agree that the pistols do give Hedda power but she would still have manipulative control of people without the pistols. She doesn't need a pistol everytime she is manipulating someone and her pistols could mean something else other than power like insanity.
